This policy explains what information screenwritingconsultant.com collects, how it's used, and your choices. It applies to this website and to the consulting services offered through it.
Information you give us
- Inquiries: your name, email, the service you're interested in, and what you tell us about your project. Inquiries submitted through the contact form, and email addresses submitted through the blog signup, are delivered to Matt by email using the FormSubmit service. Matt uses signup addresses only to send new posts, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
- Bookings: details needed to schedule and deliver the service.
- Your material: scripts and other work you send after accepting the submission release. These are handled as described in that release.
- Payments: processed by payment provider, e.g. Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and how you arrived. This uses cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
How we use it
To reply to inquiries, deliver and schedule services, process payments, send the newsletter if you subscribe, and improve the site. We don't sell your personal information or use your material for any other purpose.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help run the site and business (hosting, email, payments, scheduling, analytics), under their own privacy terms, or where required by law.
How long we keep it
Inquiry and booking records for period. Submitted material is deleted X days after the service is complete. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. Email the address below to make a request.
Children
This site and its services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
